HEALING SCREENS
Healing Screens explores the potential of moving images to support emotional well-being in contemporary art and cinema. This positive effect can arise from the direct affective impact of a film on the viewer’s body or psyche, as seen, for example, in ASMR videos, as well as in extremely minimalist decelerating films. Additionally, there are cases of artists using the filmmaking process as a form of self-therapy, further demonstrating the medium’s healing potential.
